Stunning glass flowers created by Canadian Glass Artist, Krystal Jones located in Sherwood Park, AB.
"I started working with glass in the fall of 2018 and created Gaia's Glasswear a few months later to sell the beautiful glass beads I was making. Over the years, I have expanded
from simple beaded jewellery to the flower sculptures that caught your eye. I create my items using a torch in a technique known as Lampworking in my home studio in Sherwood Park, AB.
The flowers are created by making individual glass petals and melting them onto a centre bead on a stainless steel stem. The leaves are also individually shaped pieces of glass that are created in the torch and cold worked onto stainless steel pins for mounting. The driftwood is naturally sourced from Abraham Lake while I'm camping with my family in the summertime."
